My Type Filter Overview
The Grokio Communities app allows you to customize your feeds to focus on people with the interests and attributes you’re looking for using almost any profile criteria.
You can edit your filter and turn it on and off at any time, so we recommend you play with your filter criteria over time to find the right balance for you. Once you set the criteria for your My Type filter, you’ll notice that only profiles matching your criteria (and the content they post) appear in the following places:

Your personal “Following” feeds and people lists will remain unaffected, as well as your messages. You will also continue to see comments from all community members.
Your profile will remain visible to all members and you will still be able to view all member profiles.
We strongly advise against setting strict criteria as that will severely limit your Grokio Communities experience.
