Guide to Chasable+

In December, 2021, Chasable officially changed our payment provider from CCBill to Stripe. Members who previously purchased Chasable+ through CCBill will continue to be re-billed through CCBill until they elect to cancel their subscription. If you have a legacy CCBill subscription you would like to cancel, please visit the CCBill Cancellation page.

 

All purchases of Chasable+ via www.chasabl.com are handled by our payment provider Stripe, one of the largest and most reputable payment processors in the world.

Via Stripe, we currently accept the following methods of payment: 

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and JCB payment cards (including credit or debit cards), as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

To cancel your existing Chasable+ subscription purchased via the website using Stripe, please visit your account overview page and click on the “Manage Billing” button.

To cancel your existing Chasable+ subscription purchased via the Grokio Communities app, please visit the subscriptions manager for your Apple account or Google account.

Billing FAQ

What is the difference between Regular (free) and Chasable+ (paying) accounts?

Both regular and Chasable+ accounts allow you to explore, connect and share on Chasable. Regular and Chasable+ users have access to the same features, but in some areas those features have restrictions for regular users and are unrestricted for Chasable+ users. For instance, regular users can view up-to 25 full-size photos each day, while Chasable+ users can view as many as they want. What happens when my Chasable+ expires? Will I lose anything?

When your Chasable+ expires, nothing will be deleted, however you will notice restricted access to some things that had been unrestricted before. For example: You’ll find that while you can still reply to existing private conversations, you now can only initiate 10 new conversations per day (including private messages, flirts, and wall-to-wall posts). 

Will my Chasable+ automatically be renewed upon expiration?

Currently, all Chasable+ plans are recurring (meaning unless you cancel your subscription, it will renew at the end of the designated period). If you’d like to cancel your renewing plan, you can do so at any time. Cancelling will not remove any of your remaining days, it will simply stop the renewal process at the next scheduled payment date. If your Chasable+ plan expires for any reason or if you cancel your renewing plan and you’d like to get Chasable+ again, just go back and pay for a new period of time and full Chasable+ access will be restored immediately.

How can I change my method of payment, review my prior purchases or get a receipt?

For all purchases via Stripe, you can do all of those things via the “Manage Billing” button on your account overview page on Chasable. From there, you’ll be able to switch your payment method (for example, to a new credit card), review all your previous Chasable+ payments and obtain an invoice for your transactions.

How will the Chasable+ charge appear on my billing statement?

Your billing statement will show "Grokio Communities” (Grokio Communities LLC is the operating company behind Chasable). The name Chasable will not appear on your statements.

How secure is my payment information?

Very. All website payments are handled through our payment provider Stripe, a PCI Service Provider Level 1 (the highest level of certification among payment providers). Sensitive payment details are never kept on Grokio Communities servers and are entirely handled by Stripe. Learn more about security at Stripe.

How can I purchase Chasable+ if I don’t have a credit card?

We know that some Chasable members don’t have access to a credit card to purchase a Chasable+ pass, and there’s a few options available to you:

Pay through your mobile device on the Grokio Communities app

You can purchase Chasable+ via the Grokio Communities app, which will directly charge whichever payment method you use on your mobile device. You can link a number of payment services to your mobile device’s payment system, including PayPal.

Use Apple Pay or Google Pay

If you have a debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo, you can pay directly via Stripe. However if you have a debit card without one, you may be able to use your debit card to purchase Chasable+ via Stripe with both Apple Pay and Google Pay.
