Grokio Communities Account and Data Deletion

Members can delete their account and all associated data at any time through the Grokio Communities app.

To delete your account and its data, follow these simple steps:

  1. Tap on the “Me” icon in the bottom right corner

  2. Tap on “Settings”

  3. Tap “Delete My Account”

Account deletion is permanent: Once an account is deleted, it cannot be re-activated.

Data Deletion

The only means of automatically deleting all account data is profile deletion. At the time of profile deletion, all public-facing member data is deleted, including:

  • All profile text

  • All profile fields

  • All newsfeed posts

  • All photos

  • All private conversations

Minimal back-end data is preserved exclusively for security and rule enforcement purposes on an indefinite basis, including: Username; IP address and other authentication.
